Position Overview

The Electrical Construction Project Leader will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and overseeing projects effectively. This role requires the utilization of essential engineering principles, workforce management, equipment, materials, tools, subcontracted services, and other resources to fulfill the contracted scope of work within the designated budget and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and monitor a comprehensive project schedule, including resource allocation for various trades.
  • Conduct job cost analysis and forecasting to ascertain final project expenses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create submittals, shop drawings, BIM models, and field coordination documents.
  • Oversee the procurement of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Participate in project meetings as required.
  • Regularly inspect job sites to ensure compliance with contracts, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Evaluate changes in project scope and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Manage subcontractors and equipment suppliers effectively.
  • Ensure follow-up on warranty work and maintain communication with clients to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Foster professional relationships with architects, engineers, general contractors, building owners, installers, and suppliers.
  • Manage projects ranging from $25,000 to $5 million.
Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive understanding of the construction process.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction sector.
