As an Experienced Automotive Service Technician, you will acquire practical experience in one of Goodyear's service centers by applying your mechanical skills to troubleshoot technical problems while delivering exceptional customer service.

Shift Details: Our locations may operate seven days a week, which can include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications We Value:
  • At least one year of automotive experience, including brake services, fluid flushes, and preventive maintenance.
  • A valid driver's license and a minimum age of 18.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

  • The ability to analyze and interpret information, identify issues, and make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • ASE Certification.
  • Experience in diagnosing vehicles and conducting road tests.
  • Background in electrical systems, air conditioning, and advanced fuel ignition systems.
What Skills Will You Develop?
  • Perform line technician services, routine inspections, system diagnostics, and problem-solving tasks, including brake repairs, fluid exchanges, preventive maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installations.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service by providing clear communication and feedback regarding vehicle conditions.
  • Guide and mentor junior automotive technicians.
  • Document all work performed accurately.
  • Report safety concerns to management promptly.
  • Foster teamwork to ensure timely and accurate customer care during all operating hours.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies regarding vehicle care and operation.
  • Engage in various manual tasks, which may involve lifting, standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods.
