The Senior Facilities Engineer will oversee, with minimal oversight, the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. This position requires on-site engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned duties including, but not limited to, painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing, HVAC management, water treatment, locksmith services, and general upkeep.
  • Assist in the management and execution of the preventative maintenance strategy.
  • Maintain the work order management system and address tenant service requests promptly.
  • Provide training and guidance to enhance the skills of the Engineering team.
  • Support emergency response initiatives as needed.
  • Diagnose issues across all building systems, including electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Engage in continuous technical, safety, and operational training programs.
  • Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
  • Educational background from trade school, union training, military service, or college is preferred.
  • Universal CFC EPA certification or willingness to obtain within the first year (with support from JLL).
  • Experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfort with using ladders up to 30 feet in height.
  • Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and/or drive.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
