- Operations Management
- Oversee the performance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and implement energy management strategies to reduce energy consumption and costs.
- Manage operational accounts, including variance reporting and budgeting.
- Maintenance and Repair
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Develop and implement effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Communication and Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including property management, vendors, and contractors.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the building and its occupants.
- Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience
- 5+ years of experience in building operations, maintenance, or a related field.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Vocational or technical training certificate.
- Appropriate licenses or permits for trade.
- Financial knowledge and basic computing skills.
- Familiarity with energy management systems and fire alarm systems.
This position requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting. May require shift work, on-call duties, or standby responsibilities.
