Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of engineers and maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of their duties.
    • Develop and implement effective personnel development plans to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Operations Management
    • Oversee the performance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
    • Develop and implement energy management strategies to reduce energy consumption and costs.
    • Manage operational accounts, including variance reporting and budgeting.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
    • Develop and implement effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.

    • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the building and its occupants.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in building operations, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Vocational or technical training certificate.
    • Appropriate licenses or permits for trade.
    • Financial knowledge and basic computing skills.
    • Familiarity with energy management systems and fire alarm systems.
Working Conditions

This position requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting. May require shift work, on-call duties, or standby responsibilities.
