Pediatric Gastroenterology Physician Assistant

Position Overview:
- This role presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a specialized field.
- Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, with no on-call duties or weekend shifts.
- Manage an average of 6 to 10 patients daily.
- Office-based position supporting a team of Pediatric GI Physicians.
- Responsibilities include pre/post-procedure visits, general pediatric GI consultations, and telehealth services, facilitating enhanced access to care.
- Opportunity for independent practice with a strong connection to a local tertiary care facility offering comprehensive gastroenterology services.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing with advanced physical assessment skills, or a Bachelor's degree with a certificate from an accredited physician assistant program.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse.
- Possession of state and federal Controlled Substance Registration.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience within the last three years in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in gastroenterology or related subspecialties.
- Background in pediatric gastroenterology.
- Experience in pediatric outpatient settings.
