Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine laboratory analysis for plant process control and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily routine and reportable NPDES environmental analysis.
  • Purchase and prepare chemical stock solutions, standards, and reagents.
  • Accurately prepare and record laboratory reagents and standards, including standardization and validation where applicable.
  • Generate accurate lab data and reports.
  • Ensure all lab equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field from a four-year college.
  • Experience in a wet chemistry laboratory.
  • Environmental Testing preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with advanced analytical instrumentation.
