Job Summary:

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth guest experience. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Front Desk Manager in overseeing the front desk operations and ensuring that all guests are checked in and out efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maximize room revenue through effective room merchandising and upselling techniques.
  • Monitor and maintain the front desk computer system, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure that all guests are aware of hotel policies and procedures, and that they are provided with a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure that all rooms are clean and ready for occupancy.
  • Assist with training and development of new front desk staff members.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Front Desk Manager or other hotel management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic arithmetic skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
