The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk operation. Responsibilities- Assist the Front Desk Manager in overseeing the front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and resolving guest complaints.
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest stays, including room assignments, check-in and check-out times, and any special requests or issues.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests and provide personalized service.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as customer service, conflict resolution, and front desk operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on front desk operations and customer service.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
