Respiratory Care Specialist

WakeMed Health & Hospitals is a leading provider of health services in Wake County. We are committed to delivering exceptional care to our community. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in the care of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Your responsibilities will include administering oxygen therapy, managing airways, and providing nebulized medications. You will work closely with the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy. To be successful in this role, you will need an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and be certified as a Respiratory Therapist. You will also need to obtain NC Respiratory Care Practitioner certification within one year of hire. The work schedule will be 3 days, 12 hours, with every third weekend and occasional call shifts.
