Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist provides airway management, administration of nebulized medications, secretion management, and application of oxygen therapy within the scope of practice under physician orders. The Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy with communication to the physician and healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide airway management and administration of nebulized medications
  • Manage secretions and apply oxygen therapy
  • Communicate with physicians and healthcare teams
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate therapy effectiveness
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy (preferred)
  • Associate's degree in respiratory therapy (required)
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification (required)
  • NC Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) certification (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (required within 1 year of hire)
Work Schedule

7p-7a, every third weekend

Call requirements: every third
