Medical Surgical Nurse

Job Summary:
Huggins Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Medical Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, evaluate, direct, and render care according to established standards of care
- Incorporate evidence-based best practices into everyday clinical activities
- Perform medication reconciliation and administer medications safely and appropriately
- Recognize and perform nursing interventions to maintain body homeostasis
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in quality review, performance improvement, and patient satisfaction initiatives
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred
- One year of Medical Surgical nursing experience, proficient with electronic medical records
- Current NH RN license, BLS Certification
