Job Title: Housing Specialist Supervisor

About the Role:
As a Housing Specialist Supervisor at Neighborhood Association, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional housing services to clients. Your expertise in case management and service planning, combined with your passion for helping others, makes you an ideal candidate for this position.

About You:
We are seeking an individual with a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or sociology, along with at least 2 years of direct social service experience. Your knowledge of case work/case management methodologies and commitment to Neighborhood Association's mission are essential. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and efficiency are vital for handling multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and guide Housing Specialists in case management and service planning.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Assistant Director and Housing Specialists, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with program participants to develop service plans addressing housing-related challenges and obstacles.
  • Provide assistance with client intake, service planning, advocacy, and referral services when needed.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to track service plan progress and monitor case outcomes.
  • Enter relevant data into the AWARDS Database and keep accurate records of client interactions.
  • Participate in housing-related training and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Help participants access benefits, identify financial resources, and advocate for rental assistance grants through charitable organizations.
  • Gather and submit necessary documents to HRA for Rental Assistance Grants (Exceptions to Policy) and One Shot Deals.

Salary Range:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $$65,000-$85,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
