About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Coordinator to join our creative team at Little Sleepies. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a crucial role in our product development journey, ensuring that our visionary designs come to life.

Situated in our brand new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Los Angeles, CA, you'll be at the heart of our design operations, supporting every stage from initial concept to final product approval.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with our Design team in all stages of the product development cycle, from concept to final product approval, executing product vision with critical attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet department deadlines.
  • Communicate daily with our Product Development team on samples, strike-offs, lab dips, and art croppings. Owning the documentation of design comments and feedback.
  • Track development submits to ensure design reviews are adhering to production calendar deadlines.
  • Create and maintain product linesheets for all Sleep & Play categories.
  • Work in PDM system to create and maintain accurate BOMs (Bill of Materials) for all Sleep/ Newborn categories.
  • Own all product submissions and data management in 3rd Party License Databases, entering and tracking products with guidance from Design Managers.
  • Prepare artwork strike offs & lab dips for product review with Designers, pulling pantones and samples as reference for comments/approval.
  • Manage market samples and fabric/ color swatch library and keep design space in HQ organized.
  • Support administrative tasks with freelance artists and design studios.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design, Product Development, or similar discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in working in Fashion/Product Brand, Children's market is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and solutions-focused.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills.
  • Strong color and elevated aesthetic.
  • Product passion, with an impeccable eye for color and the ability to identify trends aligned to the brand.
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of the product development process: fabrication, silhouettes, print/ artwork technique and trim.
  • A 'no task is too small' attitude willing to jump in as needed to support the team with day-to-day projects.

Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, experience and budget. The anticipated base salary range for the position in Los Angeles is $24.04-$28.85/hour & eligible for OT.
