Job Description

As a key leadership and supervisory role within the PACE center, the Day Center Lead oversees daily operations and activities conducted by Day Center Technicians. This position is responsible for mentoring, training, and supervising Day Center Technician I and II staff, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to center protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and train Day Center Technicians to foster professional growth and high-quality participant care.
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions and in-service education for technicians.
  • Oversee and assist with the delivery of personal care services, activities, and meal service, ensuring adherence to care plans and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and services provided by technicians.
  • Lead and manage responses to unexpected crises or emergencies within the day center, ensuring participant safety and compliance with emergency protocols.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate Degree in healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant License strongly preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Minimum three years of experience working with older adults in a healthcare setting, with at least one year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
