Center CNA Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Catholic Charities. As a CNA, you will work under the general direction of the Day Center Lead, providing essential care and support to our participants.
Responsibilities- Assist participants with basic activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and incontinent care.
- Assist with transfers and mobility, using assistive devices as needed.
- Assist with oral feedings and serve snacks and meals.
- Participate in center activities and restorative therapies as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility and assist with transportation of participants.
- Report changes in a participant's condition to the Day Center Lead and communicate with PACE team members.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma/GED and CPR certification.
- A current Certified Nursing Assistant License is preferred.
- Minimum one-year experience working with older adults.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle unusual situations.
This role requires working with participants who have varying cognitive levels, physical and sensory impairments, limited social supports, declining health, and at end-of-life. You will also be required to communicate and interact with PACE center staff, participants' caregivers, and family members on a daily basis.
