Equipment Maintenance Specialist

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician at Tesla, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our industrial production and mechatronic equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth production.
- Determine Root Cause of Equipment Failures: Analyze equipment failures to identify the underlying causes and implement corrective measures.
- Perform Major Equipment Repairs and Rebuilds: Conduct complex repairs and rebuilds of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with Process and Equipment Engineering teams to ensure equipment is designed and maintained to meet production needs.
- Perform Corrective Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong technical skills: Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience with mechatronic equipment.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
