About the Role

As an Equipment Technician II, you will perform and document technical functions related to test, layout, quality control, fabrication, modification, and assembly of mechanical equipment and/or components. You will work under direct supervision, performing electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical or test technician duties in areas such as manufacturing, maintenance, quality, testing, engineering, and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and document repairs, testing, maintenance, fabrication, inspection, calibration of components, instruments, test apparatus, and associated specific discipline equipment.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory/manufacturing equipment.
  • Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data for engineer review.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, test, mechanical, facilities, or hydraulic systems, components, and equipment.
  • Perform self-inspections of own work.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and a technical education degree.
  • 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
