Operations Leadership Opportunity

US Foods is seeking an experienced leader to direct and oversee the overall operations and site management of our Distribution Centers (DCs). The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements, implementing procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment, and driving profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Leadership: Provide overall site management for standalone locations, with hard line reporting to the RVP Operations and dotted line reporting to the Area President.
  • Planning and Directing: Establish long-term operations objectives aligned with business goals, develop and execute strategic plans, and integrate separate activities to achieve company goals.
  • Profitable Operations: Plan, organize, direct, and control operations functions and processes to maintain profitability, control inventory, losses, accidents, and safety.
  • Safety and Compliance: Guide operations management in compliance with government and regulatory agency guidelines, implement safety programs, and ensure overall safety and security.
  • Personnel and Company Policy: Delegate responsibility to managers, enforce policies on safety and employee discipline, and oversee the work and performance of day warehouse associates.
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree preferred (or High School Diploma and equivalent experience)
  • 10 years operations experience, with various job functions in distribution management, and minimum of 5 years of management experience
  • D.O.T. regulations, Labor Relations, Selecting/interviewing/recruiting, Customer Service, budgeting and cost control, knowledge of OSHA, HAACP, and other regulations
Compensation and Benefits:

The expected compensation for this role is between $180,000 and $200,000, with an annual incentive plan bonus and long-term incentive program. Benefits include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
