Role Overview:
This role entails delivering advanced technical support and guidance to business leaders in the evaluation, management, and assistance of pertinent networking technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft Windows operating systems (versions XP – 10).
• Install, upgrade, and support Microsoft Office applications (versions 2003 – 2019).
• Manage software and hardware installation and upkeep.
• Provide technical assistance for desktops, laptops, wireless devices, firewalls/routers, printers, monitors, projectors, and other peripheral devices.
• Offer technical direction and support to business leaders in the evaluation, testing, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and operation of server and network components.
• Monitor project progress and keep clients informed while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Essential Qualifications:
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Strong customer service skills.
• A minimum of 3 years of comprehensive IT support experience.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in IT Desktop support, including installation, upgrades, and management of Microsoft desktop environments and network equipment.
• Familiarity with desktop integration to Active Directory.
• Experience in troubleshooting and installing printers.
• Knowledge of remote connectivity and mobile devices.
• Proficiency in imaging, updating, and patching laptops/desktops.
• Experience with server and networking technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certifications such as A+, Network+, and MCSA are highly regarded.
