Senior Analyst, Performance Assessment

As a Senior Analyst, Performance Assessment, you will lead the Disaster Cycle Service (DCS) program for performance assessment, including metrics, measurement, and performance evaluation. This role operates in support of all pillar and core processes of DCS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data collection and data analysis processes to allow accurate real-time monitoring and improvement of DCS programs and processes.
  • Facilitate the development of metrics and measures for DCS processes and programs and the collection and analysis of performance data.
  • Create and support performance and evaluation tools and systems for accurate, organized, and complete metrics and performance information.
  • Develop and support volunteers who are the primary Red Cross workforce, engaging them as equal team members with specific responsibilities as part of their work.
  • Support large-scale relief operations activities when required.
  • Experience with report writing and project management, including developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
  • Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in specific area, ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects, adapt precedent, and make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required. Six sigma certification preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • High level of understanding of the organization's business systems and processes as well as industry-wide requirements.
  • Must demonstrate expertise in strategic planning, tactical execution, project management, process management, and business systems requirements definition.
  • Must understand technical problems and solutions in relation to the current, as well as the future business environment.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Database Applications, and ability to work on a team.
  • Some travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Power BI expertise in building visual data design.
  • Business process management.
  • SharePoint.
  • Red Cross programs and procedures.
  • Emergency management practices.
  • SQL & other databases.
  • Non-Profit experience.
