The Comprehensive Banking Specialist will manage account openings, execute transactions, promote and cross-sell banking products and services, and address both straightforward and intricate customer service challenges. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, cultivate, and finalize sales; utilize needs-based selling techniques to generate interest in products; actively cross-sell services.
  • Engage in meaningful discussions with customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their financial requirements.
  • Recommend products and services tailored to customer needs through direct interactions, referrals to other business lines, and marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as a digital channel expert, demonstrating advanced knowledge of all digital platforms to enhance and expand existing relationships.
  • Initiate proactive sales and service dialogues through both inbound and outbound communications.
  • Strengthen existing customer relationships through various proactive sales and service strategies, ensuring documentation in the 360 View system.
  • Participate actively in all branch activities, including Huddles, Retail Calls, and Sales meetings.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to meet customer requirements, provide product information, guide customers in managing their banking activities, and deliver service that meets established quality benchmarks.
  • Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, wires, and payments, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Safeguard cash and other negotiable items while maintaining organization.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Perform daily operational tasks such as cash drawer reconciliation and document management.
  • Open new accounts, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Adhere to all established policies and procedures.
  • Enhance technical and professional knowledge through educational workshops, training, and staying updated on product and service developments.
  • Comply with BSA/KYC policies to mitigate risks and prevent fraudulent activities.
  • Ensure accurate transaction completion while maintaining the bank's safety standards.
  • Engage in travel for meetings, community involvement, and support for local branches.
  • Participate in community service and volunteer events endorsed by the bank.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant retail experience.
  • A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in cash handling or customer service is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with banking systems, such as CRM and financial applications, is highly desirable.

Physical and Working Conditions
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, up to 75% of work hours.
  • Capability to use hands for grasping and handling.
  • Proficient in using a computer keyboard and systems for data entry and information processing.
  • Able to read a computer screen at close range.
  • Effective communication abilities, including hearing and vision.
  • Competence in using office equipment such as scanners, computers, telephones, and copiers.
