Alphatec Spine is seeking a highly skilled Associate Financial Analyst to support the financial planning, financial analysis, and management reporting for cost centers within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist finance leadership with the creation of the annual budget and quarterly operating expense forecasting.
  • Prepare month-end variance reporting and revenue analysis.
  • Perform daily ad hoc finance & accounting tasks.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the organization to ensure timely communication of pertinent information between departments.
Requirements:
  • Foundational understanding of 3 Statement Financial Modeling & corporate finance concepts.
  • Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues and business partners at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills; builds and maintains strong working relationships with peers.
  • Highly organized with a capacity to manage large amounts of data, multiple priorities, and light deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill large amounts of complex information into a concise message.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel and mastery of other PC applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word required.
  • Ability to learn & adopt a wide variety of business systems & analytical tools including SAP & Power Bi.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics).
  • 0-2 years of experience in financial management, business planning and analysis, and/or public accounting.
