Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Risk Broker to join our team at Willis Towers Watson. As a key member of our Casualty Insurance team, you will be responsible for managing brokerage responsibilities for a book of new and recurring/annual policies, with a primary focus on Casualty (Workers Compensation, General Liability, Automobile, Umbrella, Excess) lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage brokerage responsibilities for a book of new and recurring/annual policies
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of various Construction coverages on behalf of clients
  • Lead broking communication efforts by e-mail, telephone, and written correspondence with underwriters and producers
  • Assist or lead front-end sales/RFP efforts for CIP sales leads
  • Prepare and oversee creation of proposals, submissions, and quotes
  • Evaluate and develop coverage confirmation for review
  • Review binders for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain and develop business relationships with producers and senior underwriting contacts
Requirements
  • Insurance broker's P&C license
  • Risk Management/Insurance degree preferred
  • 8-10+ years of experience minimum
  • Demonstrated knowledge of core insurance principles
  • Demonstrated excellence in negotiation skills and influence skills
  • Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution and selling skills
