Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Technician for a contract opportunity.
Work Environment:
This role requires 100% onsite presence. Candidates should be prepared to work a schedule of either 4/10 or 5/40.
Incentives:
SIGN ON BONUS:
15% of total hours worked will be paid upon successful completion of the contract, provided there are no performance or workmanship issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in running wiring and connecting cannon plugs.
- Proficiency in finalizing fiber installations to components.
- Candidates must upload training documentation with their resume, including certifications in FOD & Tool Control, Non-powered Ground Support Equipment, Egress Systems Familiarization, HAZMAT Storage/Handling, and Aircraft Records Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a variety of tasks in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical domains.
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and both written and verbal instructions.
- Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in the prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as needed; prepare necessary compounds and solutions.
- Responsibilities include running wiring and connecting cannon plugs, as well as finalizing fiber installations to components.
Educational Requirements:
- Must possess an accredited High School Diploma or GED.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Work hours may be either 4/10 or 5/40 based on business needs.
- 1st Shift.
