About the Role

Bosch USA is seeking a highly motivated student to join our research team in developing new machine learning/deep learning algorithms for various real-world applications of AI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and development of novel deep learning algorithms, implementation and evaluation on public benchmarks and multi-modal Bosch data from application areas such as manufacturing, automated driving, and robotics.
  • Technical discussions with the research team towards creation of new ideas and improvement of existing solutions.
  • Clean, efficient, and well-documented implementation of new deep learning methods.
  • Code contributions to our deep learning framework.
  • Publish at leading AI conferences, and ultimately shape the future of Bosch products and services.
Requirements
  • Pursuing MS or PhD degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Strong foundation and broad knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and principles.
  • Programming experience in Python + PyTorch.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with working on Machine Learning, or Deep Learning projects.
  • Established publication record in Machine Learning or Computer Vision or related fields.
  • Good coding practices, ability to write efficient and readable code.
  • Good writing and presentation skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The U.S. base salary range for this intern position is $36.00-$58.00 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, type of degree, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, type of position, job location, etc.
