Nursing Staff Scheduler Job Summary

Beaumont at Bryn Mawr is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs.

We are seeking a full-time experienced Nursing Staff Scheduler to join our team of professionals to help meet the medical, social and spiritual needs of the residents we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Post Work Schedules: Create and post work schedules at least four weeks in advance to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Staffing Coordination: Notify directors of short staffing situations, secure replacement personnel, and update schedules as needed.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the nursing management team, perform administrative tasks as assigned by supervisor, and meet with new hires.
  • Overtime Management: Manage overtime and adhere to the Call Out Policy, tracking absenteeism and tardiness.
  • Payroll and Budgeting: Prepare schedules according to the budget and submit Payroll Based Journal (PBJ) to CMS.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: At least one year's scheduling experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Skills: Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook), and experience working with ADP.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills.
