Job Summary:

The Home Infusion Nurse Manager is a key member of the BILH Pharmacy team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Home Infusion service. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of clinical staff, including nurses, pharmacists, and technicians, to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to staff, including education, training, and coaching, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research, guidelines, and best practices in home infusion therapy to ensure the team is providing the highest level of care.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure and a minimum of 3 years of experience in home infusion therapy or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high-quality patient care and service delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to drive quality improvement and service excellence.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to staff on complex clinical issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CRNI certification
  • MSN/APRN
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Experience leading, training, group facilitation, and public speaking
