Athletic Trainer

The University of Texas at Dallas seeks a highly skilled and dedicated athletic trainer to provide exceptional care and support to our student-athletes. As a key member of our sports medicine team, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and preventing athletic-related injuries and illnesses. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping our student-athletes achieve their full potential and succeed in their academic and athletic pursuits.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide athletic training services to assigned student-athletes, including injury assessment, treatment, and prevention.
Assist in the day-to-day management of the athletic department's sports medicine operation.
Collaborate with coaching staff and other department members to ensure seamless delivery of athletic training services.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Physical Education, or a related field.
Current and valid State of Texas Athletic Training license or eligibility to obtain immediately.
Certification in First-aid, CPR, and AED use.
Membership in the Southwest Athletic Trainers Association (SWATA) and Board of Certification (BOC) licensure.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of NCAA rules for Division II Athletics.
