Automotive Business Development Center Lead

At EasyCare (APCO), we're on a mission to deliver exceptional car buying and service experiences for our valued customers. As an ambitious and goal-oriented Automotive Business Development Center Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our Sales department's growth and success.

Reporting directly to our leadership team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire BDC operation, including:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internet Lead Management: Supervise the efficient handling of online leads and inbound phone calls, ensuring seamless communication with customers.
  • Customer Retention: Foster strong relationships with both sales and service customers, driving loyalty and repeat business.

Leadership Expectations:

  • Process Innovation: Develop, maintain, and measure internet and business development processes for sales and service, driving continuous improvement.
  • Staff Development: Cultivate engaged, intelligent, and consistent staff, empowering them to excel in their roles.
  • Client Engagement: Proactively attract potential clients and retain current customers by addressing product and service inquiries via phone and/or internet.
  • CSI Excellence: Contribute to high scores for the manufacturer's customer satisfaction index (CSI).
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive growth and excellence within the BDC and the company as a whole, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Auto dealership sales, sales management, or BDC Manager experience is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Possess superior oral and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the role.
  • Leadership Qualities: Showcase exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess outstanding organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Stress Management: Demonstrate resilience and composure under pressure, maintaining focus and productivity in fast-paced environments.
