Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Facility Project Scheduler to join our team at Idaho National Laboratory. As a key member of our Online Planning and Execution department, you will play a critical role in developing and integrating schedules to support customer operations and production activities at our Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain maintenance activities in Primavera P6, ensuring seamless integration with the scheduling process.
  • Provide scheduling guidance and direction to supporting customers and managers, managing multiple scheduling tasks with ease.
  • Support resource management for Maintenance and Operations personnel work activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Integrate various work activities, including compliance level facility activities, and perform resource analysis to support execution of work.
  • Ensure work activities are accurately represented on the appropriate facility schedules, providing ad-hoc scheduling support as needed.
  • Help resolve resource priority conflicts, ensuring project planning activities are supported appropriately.
  • Provide recommendations for achieving execution of maintenance and operations activities, collaborating with senior personnel as necessary.
  • Represent the scheduling organization, working with operations personnel to understand resource requirements of operations activities.
  • Provide mentorship to enhance technical/professional skills of junior scheduling staff.
  • Evaluate schedule variances, provide guidance, and develop work around plans to ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain technical competence and proficiency associated with scheduling software (Primavera Version 6), principles, and other tools.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Level 3: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, an advanced degree and 2 years, or 11 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
    • Level 4: Bachelor's degree and 9 years of relevant experience, an advanced degree and 6 years, or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
    • Professional experience using P6.
    • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
