Job Responsibilities

The Etcher I role is responsible for developing and etching metal sheets according to established procedures to create parts meeting customer specifications.

  • Select and prioritize jobs based on due dates and priority
  • Develop metal sheets for etching
  • Evaluate and etch sheets to meet customer requirements
  • Conduct quality inspections of initial parts
  • Document issues and communicate with the team
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform equipment maintenance and chemical monitoring
  • Notify the supervisor of supply needs
  • Support other departments as necessary
  • Complete additional assigned tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude
  • The capability to occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  • The capacity to stand for extended periods
  • A commitment to maintaining clean and safe workspaces
Work Environment
