Job Overview

TouchPoint is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the retail dining services at a prominent hospital in Indianapolis. As the Senior Director of Retail Dining Services, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and overseeing the daily operations of the cafe, doctors' lounge, Starbucks, and all catering within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department
  • Develop and manage the annual retail budget
  • Prepare and manage daily/weekly/monthly reports, including inventory, cash reports, production records, payroll/time-keeping, etc.
  • Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in adherence to company food standards for preparation, presentation, sanitation, and safety
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and OSHA guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Service Management or related field; or Associate's Degree plus four years of directly related experience
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of related experience, depending on formal degree or training
  • Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
  • Confirmed understanding of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable
  • Strong supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate on various levels, including management, client, customer, and associate levels
  • Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, email, and the Internet
  • ServSafe Certified
