Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

Child and Family Services of Erie County is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide clinical and case coordination services to children and families in our residential program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical services to children and families, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify service needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.
Requirements:
  • NYS Education Department license in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
  • Experience working with children and families in a residential or clinical setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with diverse populations.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
