Job Title: Bank Locksmith Technician

We are seeking a skilled Bank Locksmith Technician to join our team at Convergint. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining locking hardware, safes, and vaults for our banking customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and service locking hardware, safes, and vaults for banking customers
  • Respond to service calls and scheduled maintenance calls in a timely manner
  • Diagnose and repair equipment, using solid troubleshooting skills to determine and complete necessary repairs and replacements
  • Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customer and Convergint
  • Communicate with customers on scheduling, troubleshooting findings, possible solutions, and the final resolution to their service issue
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge and proven experience on locking hardware, time locks, safes, vaults, and afterhours depositories
  • Working experience with drilling safes, preferred
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Customer Focus – Maintaining awareness of and seeking to meet of the needs and wants of the customer
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Adaptability – Responds effectively to changes in situation or information
  • Must be able to pass high level security clearance
