About the Role

As a Cancer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with various types of cancers, working closely with oncology teams to develop personalized care plans. Your expertise in administering chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other cancer-related treatments will be invaluable to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and provide individualized nursing care to oncology patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or other cancer treatments.
  • Administer medications, such as chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other cancer-related treatments, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects, such as nausea, fatigue, pain, or infection, and provide supportive care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams to develop and implement care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
  • Educate patients and families on cancer diagnosis, treatment options, and self-care practices to improve outcomes.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, addressing the psychological impact of a cancer diagnosis.
  • Assist in managing cancer-related symptoms, such as pain, nausea, fatigue, and emotional distress.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
  • Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Certification: Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in oncology nursing, chemotherapy administration, or related fields.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a tax-free stipend and comprehensive benefits package.
