Key Responsibilities:
Possess a solid understanding of fundamental tax concepts.
Assist in federal, state, local, and international income tax audits.
Prepare corporate and partnership tax filings utilizing Corptax

software.
Create spreadsheets for tax planning, compliance, and audit-related matters.
Support research, execution, and oversight of tax-planning initiatives.
Collaborate with other departments on corporate income tax inquiries.
Manage work assignments with minimal oversight.
Develop alternative solutions when guidelines are absent.
Interpret and apply internal policies and procedures.
Generate reports from the SAP Tax Depreciation Module and compute Tax Depreciation using FAS.
Assist with Year-End Provision using Onesource Provision Software.
Facilitate quarterly tax payments and extensions via Checks/EFT.
Engage with state authorities to resolve tax notifications.

Are you the right fit? We are looking for candidates who possess:
A BS or BA degree (preferably with a focus in Accounting or Finance)
Two years of tax experience with a CPA firm or in an industry tax department is advantageous but not mandatory.
A high level of initiative and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with accounting systems, preferably SAP.
Experience with tax research software such as CCH and BNA is a plus but not essential.
Experience with tax preparation software, particularly Corptax, is also a plus but not required.
