Job Title: IT PMO

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee the project management office within our Information Technology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects and portfolios, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

This role involves setting standards for project management, ensuring best practices are followed, and providing leadership and support to project managers across the IT department.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project management frameworks, processes, and tools to support project delivery.
  • Ensure alignment of IT projects with business goals and objectives.
  • Establish governance processes to monitor project performance, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the portfolio of IT projects, prioritizing based on business needs, resource availability, and risk.
  • Monitor and report on project status, including key milestones, deliverables, budget, and timelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers, ensuring consistent application of project management methodologies.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
  • Foster effective communication between IT project teams and business units to ensure project alignment and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Promote a high-performance culture through effective leadership and team management.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects and portfolios, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is required.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
