Amalgamated Bank is seeking a dedicated Client Support Associate to take a leadership role in overseeing various processes related to pricing, proxy, billing, statements, and corporate actions. This position is crucial for collaborating with Investor Relations, FIS, clients, and other key stakeholders to address inquiries, escalate issues, and identify emerging trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with client-facing teams to resolve various issues, including billing discrepancies and access challenges.
- Escalate operational concerns to FIS as needed, working closely with their team to find resolutions.
- Utilize analytical skills to assess client issues, identify trends in billing and statements, and report findings to FIS while partnering with stakeholders for solutions.
- Determine access levels for both clients and employees based on business requirements.
- Ensure proper assignment of account and portfolio affiliations.
- Review the work of Client & Outsourcing Support Admin to confirm the accuracy of billing, statements, fees, and other configurations.
- Oversee the setup of new accounts, statement processing, pricing, proxy, corporate actions, billing, and related affiliations.
- Guarantee that all statements are issued, pricing is precise, and billing is processed correctly, including GL accounting entries.
- Manage all FIS-related communications that affect clients or the bank.
- Collaborate with the Client Support Manager on internal and external communications with Investor Relations and Commercial Banking for Trust Clients, providing assistance with client communications as required.
- Supervise tax reporting processes for clients, including communications with FIS and the IRS.
- Provide coverage and support for the Client Support Manager and colleagues during planned and unplanned absences.
- Oversee the DC37 Annuitant Program, including reviewing processing components and liaising with client-facing contacts.
- Participate in annual career development planning.
- Perform various administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- General understanding of the securities industry's policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make impactful decisions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Preferred experience in a supervisory role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the global custody sector.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer software applications (MS Word, Excel, Access).
The starting base salary for this role is between $60,000.00 – $70,000. Actual base pay will depend on various factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. This salary range is subject to change.
