Job Description:

The Director of Engineering is responsible for leading a team of engineers to architect, design, and build pilots and new products. This role requires collaboration with the Vice President of Engineering and working closely with a small team of developers in a fast-paced and highly ambiguous environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build enterprise software leveraging blockchain and cryptographic technologies.
  • Direct code writing and set technical direction.
  • Lead the team to ensure that requirements are turned into service designs and drive overall architecture of digital assets solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects across the firm and external partners to drive innovation and growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, operating systems, and platforms.
  • Experience with Golang, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and microservices.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.
  • Able to take a concept and turn it into a finished product.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt diverse technologies.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
