Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for administering departmental purchase/service contracts, preparing proposals, and analyzing estimates of material, equipment, and/or production costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement purchasing contracts, including initiation, renewal, and expiration of contracts within area of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with key partners across the system to structure contracts, ensuring compliance with system and facility policies, government specifications, and conformance to customer service agreements.
  • Manage contract fulfillment based on agreed terms of parties involved, coordinating contract changes, reviewing amendments or contract extensions.
  • Evaluate and prioritize existing contracts for opportunities to improve contract benefits and/or reduce costs within area of responsibility.
  • Investigate and recommend new products, services, equipment, and product standardization to enhance contract benefits within area of responsibility.
  • Facilitate negotiations within scope vendors price, terms, and conditions, managing vendor relationships and monitoring vendor performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in purchasing, business law, economics, business administration, or construction management preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration.
  • A minimum of two years of demonstrated ability to organize and implement simultaneous projects.
