Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning strategy for the facility, focusing on the Master Production Planning (MPS) Process to enhance delivery performance and inventory management.
- Supervise the planning team, including Master Planners and Planners, to ensure standardized planning practices on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team alongside the Supply Chain Director and Operations Managers.
- Engage with Sales to maintain forecasts and reorder point data for critical products.
- Develop production plans based on demand requirements, actual sales orders, forecasts, and reorder points.
- Conduct trend analysis by product, customer account, and market study data.
- Coordinate and implement the production schedule with manufacturing, customer service, and shipping operations.
- Act as a liaison between manufacturing and Sales/Customer Service for any deviations from the original production plan.
- Schedule and support the initial build and ramp-up of new product releases.
- Work with other departments to create a feasible production schedule and assist in resolving work center load imbalances.
- Possess extensive knowledge in manufacturing planning and master scheduling within an MRP environment, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing operations and processes.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to develop trend data from shipping and sales reports.
- Communicate professionally with all levels of employees.
- Quickly acquire a thorough understanding of LISI Aerospace's systems and procedures related to production control, manufacturing, purchasing, and data processing.
- Maintain the Master Production schedule, generating plans by calculating requirements, facility capacity, materials availability, and due dates.
Safety and Compliance:
- Implement and adhere to all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and practices.
- All employees are responsible for complying with the rules and regulations set forth by Federal, Local, and State government, as well as LISI Aerospace and HSE Procedures.
- Attend all training provided and adhere to all HSE procedures, policies, and plans, conforming to reporting requirements and safe operating procedures at all times.
- Report any known or suspected nonconformance regarding company procedures or legal requirements to management immediately.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance HSE performance by establishing objectives and targets, measuring progress, and reporting results.
Implement and propose waste reduction initiatives related to the function and department, such as recycling opportunities and minimizing paper waste.

Essential Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management (Master's degree preferred).
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in people management.
- APICS CPIM certification preferred.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in basic mainframe computer systems and familiar with spreadsheet and word processing software; knowledge of database systems.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and operations using various units of measurement.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
