About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems in multiple assigned facilities.

Your primary focus will be on providing support, preventive and scheduled maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. You will also operate, inspect, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems in assigned facilities to achieve efficient results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned building(s).
  • Inspect building HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
  • Complete maintenance and repair records as the need arises.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
  • Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Operate company vehicle in a safe manner and follow prescribed routines to service locations in a timely manner.
  • Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
  • Align with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Proven experience as a HVAC technician or Building Engineer; minimum of three years.
  • EPA required.
  • Mobile maintenance experience highly preferred.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks.
