Insight Global is seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of hardware systems for our Autonomous Vehicle team. As a key member of our team, you will work under the supervision of senior engineers to design, build, and test complex hardware systems that enable our vehicles to operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, software engineering, and QA to transform information into driving experiences.
- Help build, test, and maintain hardware systems, ensuring they work flawlessly and safely on our driving platform.
- Develop strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to effectively work with teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical/electronics and vehicles.
- Completion of Post-Secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Current valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to travel within the US and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE or MECP certification.
- Knowledge and experience using Windows or Linux operating systems.
- Experience using Python.
- High proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic systems.
- Background in electronic components, automotive industry, and equipment.
