About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager I to join our team at CEVA Logistics. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing all Guam station functions to ensure that all departments and station staff execute service agreements at or above the customer's standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maximize profitability through superior customer service, effective and prompt communication, and follow-up on all pending matters with the customer.
  2. Provide managers with daily guidance, leadership, and overall support on any issues relating to operations, communication, human resources, revenue enhancement, standardizing procedures, and systems applications and executing processes to meet customer needs.
  3. Ensure that freight is being expedited in a safe and timely manner.
  4. Ensure that the station facility provides a clean, professional, and safe working environment for all employees.
  5. Review analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated business development goals and objectives.
  6. Review and evaluate station P & L performance and establish short-term goals to address any budgetary shortfalls.
  7. Oversee business development, sales, and marketing and new account development to ensure that maximum transportation revenue is generated for the station.

Requirements

  1. High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  3. Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
  4. Minimum 4 years industry experience, preferred.
