  • Certified Payroll Reports: Prepare and submit quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
  • Prevailing Wage Compliance: Oversee preparation and filing of certified payroll reports as required for public works projects.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of certified payroll reports for audit purposes.
  • Payroll Reporting: Generate and maintain payroll reports, records, and documentation.
  • Payroll Data Provision: Provide payroll-related data and reports to management as needed.
  • Audit Support: Assist in audits and ensure all payroll information is accurately documented and accessible.
  • Employee Support: Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Payroll Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
  • Financial Analysis: Support management with various ad hoc financial projects, including payroll analysis, cost projections, and reporting.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Union Payroll Knowledge: Strong knowledge of union payroll processing and union agreements.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Vista by Viewpoint ERP software, preferred.
  • Payroll Tax Knowledge: Thorough understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance.
  • Certified Payroll Experience: Experience with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements.
