We are seeking a skilled Management Consultant to enhance our Risk, Regulatory & Compliance Business Unit, serving clients in a project management capacity.

Our consultants collaborate closely with clients' Compliance and Legal leadership, spearheading cross-functional projects related to Compliance (e.g., AML, KYC, Sanctions), Data Privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD), Legal Operations, and high-stakes initiatives. This role presents an excellent opportunity for change management within the legal and regulatory landscape.

Our team is adept at managing projects from inception to completion, encompassing planning, documentation, implementation, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and/or assist with various client delivery projects, as part of an on-site or remote team
  2. Collaborate with internal and client project teams, contributing to internal communications and readiness activities
  3. Provide updates on progress, dependencies, issues, risks, and overall program health
  4. Maintain program sites as a central repository for all project-related information
  5. Contribute to the creation of high-quality and timely deliverables
  6. Conduct subject matter research and business analysis
  7. Assist in the coordination and development of client proposals
  8. Support practice development, thought leadership, and team growth
  9. Evaluate clients' processes and controls against industry best practices, identifying gaps and communicating recommendations
  10. Plan and execute client engagements focusing on Operational Risk, Operational Resilience, Regulatory Compliance, Surveillance, Conduct Risk, Third Party Risk Assessments, and other risk management programs
  11. Participate in business development efforts, including preparing proposals and presentations for prospective clients
  12. Manage project administration, including contracting and budget oversight

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  2. At least 1 year of recent project management experience in regulatory, compliance, legal, privacy, or securities-related projects
  3. Demonstrated ability to integrate compliance, regulatory, and legal knowledge within a project management framework
  4. Familiarity with Legal and Compliance functional areas and prior experience in related topics
  5. Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies, including agile/scrum
  6. Advanced project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Agile are preferred
  7. Relevant certifications such as ACAMS, CPA, CA, CMA, CIA, CFI, CFE, CRCP, CRCM, or others are advantageous
