Job Opportunity

DLR Group, a 100% employee-owned integrated design firm, is seeking a skilled Senior Technical Interior Designer to join their Hospitality studio. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading interior design projects from programming through construction administration, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement interior design concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and programs, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Lead and mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive design excellence.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in hospitality interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional NCIDQ Certification.
  • Experience with FFE specification software and producing custom specifications.
  • Interest in Healthy Materials and sustainable building design.
