Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Interior Designer to join our Hospitality studio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading interior design projects from programming through construction administration. Your expertise will be essential in delivering design excellence, collaborating with internal partners, vendors, and consultants, and managing project budgets, schedules, and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare drawings, models, materials, and other documents related to the design.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients to ensure project completion on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and programs, as well as project communication and documentation.
  • Develop the design and project with input from the Principal in Charge and/or the Design Leader for key project stages.
  • Manage project schedule, budget, and cartoon set for project success.
  • Determine and manage coordination of all technical project efforts to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of professional experience designing hospitality interior projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent.
  • Strong creative design and drawing skills, as well as graphic and oral presentation skills.
  • Intimate familiarity with the interior design process and deliverables required.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with FFE specification software and producing custom specifications.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.
  • Ability to work both independently and effectively in a cross-disciplinary team atmosphere and across multiple offices.
  • Ability to manage teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional NCIDQ Certification.
  • Ability to estimate project fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts.
  • Interest in Healthy Materials and sustainable building design.
