University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a skilled Social Worker to provide individual/group therapy/education/support services to patients, families, and staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social work principles and standard practices, with the ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to affect positive patient and family outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide psychosocial assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, referrals, and information to patients and families.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Provide outcome-focused social work assistance in complex cases, applying knowledge and past experience to identify patterns and provide feedback for improved practice.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
**Requirements:**
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Four years of professional experience in social work, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Social Work License (LMSW) in the state of Texas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people of all social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
- Bilingual English/Spanish, culturally sensitive.
