Position Summary:

In collaboration with the Partner Sales Play Manager (SPM) and under the guidance of the Director of Partner Business Development, the Partner Engagement Specialist plays a vital role in our partner engagement strategy.

The Partner Engagement Specialist leverages their understanding of the assigned partners' products and services, solutions, Go-To-Market strategy, and organizational structure to drive substantial sales growth within the Enterprise Solution Group (ESG). This role is proactive in showcasing CNXN's value to the partner field organization, which includes Sales, Solution Architects, industry CTOs, marketing representatives, and partner executives. The position requires 40-50% travel and may involve participation in partner field meetings, events, roundtables, partner staff meetings, and executive briefings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates ESG sales growth of core and adjacent products and services.
  • Drives a 3X increase in top-of-funnel pipeline, as reflected in Salesforce.
  • Represents CNXN's value proposition and rebrands CNXN to the partner field organization.
  • Documents one-on-one meetings with key stakeholders from assigned partners.
  • Maps partner field teams to CNXN accounts and account teams.
  • Conducts CNXN presentations to partners and documents enablement sessions.
  • Participates in field events, roundtables, partner staff meetings, and executive briefings.
  • Documents participation and collaboration efforts.
  • Works closely with the assigned ESG Partner BD Sales Play Manager and partners in CNXN PM, Sales, and Marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, Cisco WebEx, and relevant internal business systems such as Salesforce.
  • Strong IT aptitude with a commitment to continuous learning and application of the latest technologies.
  • Experience in partner relationship management and customer-facing roles, successfully leading technical discussions with senior executives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of vendor-specific technology and respective practice area technologies.
  • Proficient in account planning with experience in upselling and cross-selling strategies.
  • Articulate with the ability to clearly convey and demonstrate value propositions to clients.
  • Skilled in providing IT solutions tailored to customer needs.
